I’m Dr. Nathan Unkefer, an at-home ketamine physician, and I want to share a bit of my story with you.

For nearly 20 years, I worked as an ER doctor, navigating the high-stakes intensity of trauma centers while outwardly appearing to live a picture-perfect life. But beneath the surface, I was struggling. I felt burned out and disconnected. I was going through the motions without joy, meaning, or fulfillment. Therapy and antidepressants didn’t bring the relief I was hoping for, and I was left searching for something more.

That’s when I came across emerging research on ketamine and its potential to shift long-standing patterns of depression and anxiety. Curious and cautiously hopeful, I decided to try it for myself. The experience changed everything. The heaviness began to lift. I found motivation again. Simple joys returned. And with them came a renewed sense of purpose, not only in my life, but in my work.

I realized I could take my years of experience administering ketamine in the ER and transform it into something more personal, more compassionate. I wanted to support people not just medically, but emotionally, by bringing care directly to them, in the safety and comfort of their own homes.

I met Shandell at Utah’s Psychedelic Conference in 2024, and immediately recognized that she offered something I couldn’t. Her intuitive, grounded approach to emotional support and integration beautifully complements my clinical background. Together, we’ve created something truly holistic.

Our mission is simple: to help people find real, lasting relief from depression, anxiety, PTSD, and beyond, by combining the science of ketamine with the soul of true healing.
